The Authors Fund
We now allow any Stanford University Press author to donate all or part of their earned royalties to the Stanford Authors Fund. This fund will be used each year to underwrite a portion of the production cost of a small number of scholarly titles, primarily from younger scholars whose work deserves to be published but which is likely to have a small market. We are proud to promote this important part of our publishing mission, and equally proud of the support of our authors for this program. If you are an author with the Press and wish to join the program please click here for the assignment form.
All titles benefiting from this fund will include an acknowledgement on the copyright page of the book as well as within the book's listings on this web site and in our catalogs.
Earnings from the fund will be allocated to new titles each summer, and the awards will be listed on this page. The first awards will be granted in June of 2013.
