Ivan T. Berend is professor of history at the University of California, Los Angeles.

 

André W.M. Gerrits is associate professor in European studies at the University of Amsterdam.

 

Ido de Haan is professor of history at the University of Utrecht.

 

Andrew C. Janos is professor of political science at the University of California, Berkeley, in the fields of comparative politics and East European studies.

 

Bruno Naarden is professor of Russian history at the University of Amsterdam.

 

Aviel Roshwald is professor of history at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
